New approach to landscapes

Been enjoying doodling with circles for a while and thought I'd have a go playing with this kind of mark making on a larger landscape - playing with aerial and linear perspectives (ie top down and long view with a horizon), seeing how different marks and a more abstract approach can make us look at a landscape in both perspectives . . . hmmmmm

First of the 'Strangeways 20'

Young Snowball.  Enjoyed doing the neck and back more than I'd anticipated as I deliberately kept it looser and less foregrounded.
Hope to get one more signed off before school starts.

Faces and chroma

Enjoyed getting onto the kids' faces today and getting the colour/chroma in the right (ie less red!) zone.
