landscapes, tidying an old (2014) portrait and 'still life' if a bunch of pebbles on a N QLD beach counts as 'still'.  Still working on the different mindset involved in painting landscapes . . .  not completely sure if I'm having fun yet as they seem so far away . . .

Convincing myself this isn't a landscape:  either some very small trees or a skyline.  Because landscapes not something I can get my head around painting.  It's Simpson's Gap (LH side from the road in) by the way.

And I've been meaning to play around with my camels-people interactions ideas a bit more, so these are quite small studies to see how they come out and if I enjoy doing them.
