well not really brand new beginnings

 . . . but  been wanting to get this one finished for a while so it can come down from the studio.  Didn't get as much done this weekend as I'd hoped as there was still a fair bit of sorting out to do for the Exhibition, but enjoying back to this.  Issues:  getting Bean's skin colour right so he doesn't look completely anemic; Good  bits: the hands, which now I don't have to worry too much about making them look like hands (and not a bunch of bananas) I can play with the expressiveness of them (something that ended up being a bit of a theme in the Santa portraits).  And bizarrely enough, the watches are kind of fun too . . .
