but need to soften the drapery (the photo's a  exaggeration, but still highlights an issue - shouldn't be too much of a problem, just a couple of darker glazes to knock back the paler bits.

dodgy photo as the usual winter story of painting as the sun goes down and photos ending up on long, blurry exposures.  happy with the sop bits of the skull..Horns will be an unexpected challenge.

It's starting to feel like I have enough for the exhibition now, so I can begin to get stuck into working through the middle 'years' of the various canvases I've blocked out over the last few weeks.  Phew.  I think.
